Test application: Web based test. Many students used the university computer network, although a few used private computers.
Subject population: 221 first quarter algebra based physics course (201) students at OSU (fall quarter, '97) who took the test for extra credit.
The pre-test showed no significant difference between the three groups. Avg. # Correct = 4.2 / 5, and a std. dev of 1.0.
Results from the Main test:

There was a significant difference between the Sound (41%) and the two Vision
groups (66%).

There was an average difference in the test scores of 25% between the Sound and Vision groups.
